Hi, we provide pet sitting in the Tyne Valley and nearby areas. My name is Terry and here I am pictured with our two dogs Roland and Alfie. I am based in Tyne and Wear.

I chose to work with Creature Comfort Home Boarding in the latter part of 2008 because we’d been looking for a friendly home for Roland when we go to places we can’t take him and realised that traditional kennels were not the answer for us. I came across Creature Comforts and my first thought was “what a wonderful service” and my second thought “what a great job to do” – so here I am.

Setting up the Sunderland and North Durham based business has been a great experience so I’ve decided to expand the business across the North East to cater for the demand for our personalised service to dog owners.

Host Families – Pet Sitters

Your dog will be cared for by a local Host Family vetted and recommended by Creature Comforts Home Boarding. The Hosts will be dog lovers, some have their own dogs to provide company for your dog, some don’t but all provide individual care for your dog. We have Hosts in all areas.

You will be encouraged to meet the Host during the booking process before handing over your pet at the start of the boarding period. This will give you the chance to ensure all special needs or conditions are fully understood. We will work with the Host to make all of the arrangements for handing over at the start of your break and returning your pet at the end of your break.

We’d do our best to keep the same Host for subsequent breaks so that both you and your pet can be comfortable with someone you’ve met before and hopefully get to know well.
