Hello, my name is Neil and I am extremely proud to be your Creature Comforts Home Boarding representative in the Doncaster area.

My home has never been without a dog of one shape or another and here I am pictured with my current dog Paddy. As you can see, Paddy is a very lazy retired ex-racing greyhound who we brought home from the greyhound rehoming centre for a weekend trial about 4 years ago and, well, he never went back- except to visit his old friends now and again. It didn't take Paddy long to get used to the luxuries in life like his own 2 seater setee, 2 other beds to choose from and endless supplies of pigs ears. I know that Paddy would hate to go back into kennels if we were away without him and that's why, as a loving dog owner, I am very enthusiastic about creature Comforts' simple, yet highly successful, concept of dog care and I wanted to bring this great service to our area.

What does Creature Comforts offer you and your dog?

Creature Comforts is a nationwide company which offers a real alternative to traditional kennels. We have a local network of carefully vetted and insured host families who are all experienced dog owners that meet the high standards required by Creature Comforts. Some hosts will have their own dog to provide company while others are ex-dog owners, but the one thing they all have in common is a genuine love of dogs and they will treat your furry friend as if it were their own dog.

Our host families have had a wide variety of experience with different dog breeds and different situations which means that we can match you and your dog to the best host family for you. The idea behind Creature Comforts is simple; along with your dog, you take their usual food, bed, treats, toys, lead and anything else you can think of that they may need to keep them happy to the host families home. You can then have a great relaxed break with full confidence that your dog is being well looked after in a safe and loving environment and then pick up your pal as arranged with the host family once you return. You are encouraged to visit the host family with your dog before they stay so that you and your dog know exactly what to expect. Remember, all dogs are individuals and each dogs' needs are different so you'll have the chance to tell the host family about your dog's routines and their little quirks!

Costs

The cost is £12.50 per day for one dog (including part days). There is no minimum length of stay and no hidden extras.
